Level 1 Complex Operations 

The TP 15530 Level 1 Complex regulations will come into effect on November 4, 2025, setting a new benchmark for advanced drone operations in Canada. To meet compliance, operators must complete a minimum of 20 hours of ground school training, along with advanced flight reviews and knowledge requirements tailored for complex environments.

Delivered in partnership with the RPAS Centre, this 20-hour online program is designed for pilots preparing to conduct BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) missions in Canadian airspace, combining flexible self-paced study with scheduled instructor-led check-ins to ensure steady progress and mastery of key concepts.

DRONE PILOT CERTIFICATE

Altohelix is partnered with RPAS Centre, a Transport Canada TP-15395 compliant drone school. The basic and advnaced certificate courses are comrpised of self-paced online content and a flight review, meticulously crafted by a dedicated team of professional aviation and RPAS instructors. SFOC CONSULTING

To obtain an SFOC, drone operators must apply to Transport Canada and complete a specific Operational Risk Assessment (SORA) for their proposed operation. Transport Canada(TC) reviews the application to ensure it complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Have Altohelix asset you with your application.

PHOTOGRAMMETRY TRAINING

This course by RPAS Centre provides the fundamentals of Geospatial Science by capturing data and processing it within Pix4D photogrammetry software. Pix4D will be used as the photogrammetry platform, a highly capable drone mapping platform with many in-depth functions.
